Note from the author...
I really don't know if anyone is reading this, and do some degree, that does not matter. I am merely posting this note to say that for all those who are reading this, thank you. This blog is basically
my opinions and advice on today's fashions.
It is part self-expression, and part informative.
It's also supposed to be FUN! so please comment with some feedback, I'd love to hear from you, whoever you are : )
This winter invests in:
1) Warm,
CASUAL winter coat
2) Warm,
FANCY dressy coat
3) "
Northface" - casual everyday, less expensive than #1
4)
Vest - very cute, very in!
So i havent posted here in awhile... thought i'd talk a bit about SHOES FOR WINTER '09-'10These shoes are MUST HAVES for the winter season. They are all
UGGS except for the
Black Velvet Flats which are Juicy.
The Black and Grey Ugg Knit Boots are EXTREMELY useful. I have the
grey ones because i tend to wear dark wash denim and the grey
brightens up the darkness of the outfit.
I definetly recommend the Grey Boots for everyday wear. The flats are great for
fancy events and the velvet is a great touch.
The
moccassin ugg slippers are what i wear inside and to run errands. they are very warm and comfortable. then the white/grey boots are just a great shoe for a fashionable look.
I was the type of girl who thought you should buy a ton of the cheapest makeup out there. NO. WRONG. I started buying makeup about 2 years ago and now I have like 3 makeup bags full of crap. Kidding. Well basically what I am saying is that you should research before you buy. Everytime.
Ladies: Go on a fake online shopping spree @ Sephora.com
Make a collage using PAINT of the products you liked with their prices next to them. One of mines is under. Make sure you read the reviews. They are always helpful.
Ive decided to start investing in good makeup. I went on YAHOOANSWERS and asked what their favorite products & tools are. Look at the long response by "grace..."
There she lists all of the basic products you should have. I suggest focusing on getting good brushes. And face products (foundation, concealer, highlighter, etc.) Eyes are different because you really need to find your COLORS. I suggest buying eye colors LAST. When you are ready for your eyeshadows and eyeliners go out and by a cheap kit (theres normally some on sale) with a huge variety of colors. Then throw a sleepover and test them out. You and your friends can find out what works best for you and then you can go buy the expensive stuff.
****BRANDS THAT NEVER FAIL****
MAC, NARS, Bare Escentuals, Covergirl (drugstore brand, ususally good)
Many women don't realize the importance of research in makeup. Dont underestimate!
As you can see, these are mainly tools, and face products. It is also important to get a makeup remover product, I choose one that was only $12!
So remember, always read reviews of products before you buy and look for FACE products first.
POLYVORE.COM is a site where you make outfits. There are millions of clothes, accessorize, makeup anything you'll need to create an outfit. Use it as a mannequin to create an outfit for an important upcoming event! Whatever you want! I suggest checking it out.

***PS: Rompers are so in!

All over Europe teenaged girls have started to sport leather jackets. That was in 2008. But this trend has not hit America yet. This fall and winter and part of spring LEATHER JACKETS will be in. Now they are expensive but you can find fake ones for $50 at places like H&M and Urban Outfitters. They are great with jeans and overall a good splurge!
Favorited Colors: Black and Brown
